Spencer and His New Talent

After taking a long swig from his bottle, Spencer decided to lean his head back and imitate a fountain. He thought this was hilarious as the milk came sputtering out his mouth into the air, and now he has been blowing bubbles and spitting all day long.

Wyatt decided to stand up on the rocking recliner and rock back and forth while saying "surf's up dude"....I am wondering where in the world he heard that...

The Holidays

Sometimes I think that I need a vacation from our Christmas "vacation." Wyatt requested a big fire truck and a Transformer for himself and a little fire truck for Spencer. We got back really late on Christmas Eve from my grandparent's house, and I had to wake Wyatt up so that he could put Reindeer Food out for Rudolph and cookies for Santa. Wyatt was so excited when he awoke to find the cookies gone and the requested gifts from Santa....then the strangest thing happened....Wyatt became more interested in Spencer's "baby" toys than in his own "big boy" toys. He has been struggling with reverting back to his "baby" ways, and this just fueled the fire.

However, now that a few days have passed, Wyatt is starting to see that being a big boy can be alot more fun than being a baby. I mean, how much fun can you have with a teething ring???

Just a little while ago, Wyatt informed me that he wants to be a grown up, and as I am typing this, Stephen is holding Spencer on Wyatt's back while Wyatt crawls around like a horse....

I don't know which is worse, having a child that refuses to act his age, or having one that wants to grow up too fast...
